This chain extender is solid copper (not plated) with an antiqued finish. It is made from cable chain with links measuring approximately 5mm x 3.8mm and a decorative beaded dangle on the end. It is 2 inches (excluding the dangle). You can attach your clasp to any of the links to extend the length of your chain up to 2 inches. It comes with a jump ring to attach to the end of your chain.
